Key Responsibilities

  • Support qualified surveyors in undertaking survey work within track & civil to provide quality engineering solutions across our rail network.">
  • Carry out accurate measuring, data recording and ground marking tasks under the direction of senior surveyors/engineering surveyors.">
  • Preparation for workday activities by restocking and general maintenance of field equipment and survey vehicles.">
  • Ensure workspace and workshop cleanliness.">
  • Perform protection officer duties on site to ensure a safe work environment.">
  • Comply with health, safety and environmental requirements.">

About You

">

To succeed in this role, you will have a construction or project construction background performing similar assistant surveying tasks. A rail protection officer qualification would be advantageous but not required at this stage.

">

You should possess strong oral and written communication skills, ability to work within a team and demonstrate a collaborative and supportive approach to deliver on requirements using strong initiative.

">

Able to maintain equipment and perform minor repairs, you must also be willing to travel to regional sites and adapt to outdoor conditions.

We offer competitive remuneration estimated around $65,000 - $80,000 per annum depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within our organisation.
