About the Role:
  • Develop, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including services, technology, licensing, and distribution agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, such as APRA Prudential Standards (CPS 231, CPS 232, CPS 234, CPS 230), privacy, and modern slavery regulations.
  • Assess and mitigate third-party risk, influencing internal procurement policies and tools.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, Cyber, Risk, and Finance teams to ensure alignment and risk mitigation across initiatives.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of contract management processes and procurement systems.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' PQE with a strong focus on commercial and procurement contracts.
  • Experience gained in-house or in private practice, preferably in financial services, technology, or other regulated sectors.
  • Strong working knowledge of risk allocation, contract governance, and vendor compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to work independently and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Clear, concise communicator with a pragmatic and collaborative style.
