Job Overview

The Construction Site Manager will oversee and implement work practices and standards to ensure quality, safety, and environmental procedures are adhered to.

This includes ensuring projects comply with business systems and championing safe work systems and behaviors. The role requires an experienced professional to work with safety and quality coordinators to develop and maintain safety plans and procedures, as well as operational policy procedures.

Key responsibilities include setting up and maintaining production reports to monitor progress of site works, developing project schedules to optimize manning levels and timely completion of contract works.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 5 years experience in a similar position, preferably in Civil/Structural Construction Industry, significant experience managing and leading teams, strong commitment to developing and maintaining a safe working environment, and superior written and verbal communication skills.

About the Role

  • Implement and monitor work practices and standards to ensure QA/QC, environmental, and safe work procedures are adhered to.
  • Evaluate project compliance with business systems - Safety, Quality, Operations, HR, Procurement etc.
  • Champion Safe Work systems and behaviours.
  • Collaborate with Safety and Quality Coordinators to establish and enforce safety plans and operational policies.
  • Develop and maintain production reports to track site works progress.
  • Optimize project schedules to achieve efficient manning levels and timely completion.
