Project Manager - Container Parks

DP World Australia Limited is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the Container Parks Business projects nationally. The successful candidate will take ownership and responsibility for project management activities, working closely with key business stakeholders to prioritize projects and obtain approval to execute them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support key projects that deliver business solutions and support broader business development
  • Plan and monitor project progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as needed
  • Develop and manage project plans to support activity, resources, and interdependencies
  • Identify and resolve issues, manage project risks, and develop contingency plans
  • Manage relationships with internal and external team members, stakeholders, and sponsors/project board
  • Ensure the right people with the right skills are secured for the right roles within the project
  • Identify and obtain support and advice required for project management, planning, and control
  • Conduct end-project evaluation to assess project management and prepare an end-project report

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management disciplines
  • 5+ years of Project Management industry experience
  • Project Management certification or designation, PMP ideal
  • Experience managing multiple business projects and a portfolio of projects
  • Experience with project management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Experience working in industries with a similar workforce composition to DP World
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
