Environmental Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Specialist to join our team at Greencap. As an Environmental Scientist, you will play a key role in supporting our clients in managing contaminated sites and developing sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our team of experts to investigate and remediate contaminated sites, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct site assessments, sampling, and testing to identify environmental hazards and develop effective remediation strategies.
- Develop and implement sustainable solutions for contaminated site management, including remediation, rehabilitation, and transition to new uses.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their environmental and business objectives.
- Contribute to business growth and development within our environmental services team, identifying new opportunities and developing strategic plans to achieve business objectives.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in environmental science, contaminated site management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and guidelines, particularly in NSW.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and flexible approach to undertaking projects.
