About the Role

We are seeking skilled Environmental Consultants to join our client's Planning and Environmental Approvals Teams in various locations. In this role, you will play a key part in managing our diverse project pipeline, which includes environmental planning, impact assessments, and approvals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare environmental constraints reports, REFs, scoping documents, environmental impact assessments, statutory planning submissions, and environmental management plans.
  2. Offer environmental and planning advice to internal and external clients.
  3. Contribute to the successful delivery of projects through technical input, project management assistance, and specialist coordination.
  4. Access career development frameworks and receive coaching and mentoring from industry experts in an environment that values diversity, flexibility, and professional growth.
  5. Collaborate with a national team, working on projects across Australia within our 280+ strong Environmental Solutions business.
  6. Continuously develop your technical and consulting skills to take on increasing responsibilities as you gain experience.
Requirements
  1. A degree or postgraduate qualification in environmental science, environmental planning, or a related discipline.
  2. 2-6 years of experience in environmental planning, impact assessment, and approvals.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with environmental planning legislation in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, and at the Commonwealth level.
  4. Excellent reporting and verbal communication skills.
  5. Strong organizational skills, motivation, and the ability to work independently.
