About the RoleWe are seeking skilled Environmental Consultants to join our client's Planning and Environmental Approvals Teams in various locations. In this role, you will play a key part in managing our diverse project pipeline, which includes environmental planning, impact assessments, and approvals.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare environmental constraints reports, REFs, scoping documents, environmental impact assessments, statutory planning submissions, and environmental management plans.
- Offer environmental and planning advice to internal and external clients.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects through technical input, project management assistance, and specialist coordination.
- Access career development frameworks and receive coaching and mentoring from industry experts in an environment that values diversity, flexibility, and professional growth.
- Collaborate with a national team, working on projects across Australia within our 280+ strong Environmental Solutions business.
- Continuously develop your technical and consulting skills to take on increasing responsibilities as you gain experience.
- A degree or postgraduate qualification in environmental science, environmental planning, or a related discipline.
- 2-6 years of experience in environmental planning, impact assessment, and approvals.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with environmental planning legislation in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, and at the Commonwealth level.
- Excellent reporting and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, motivation, and the ability to work independently.
