We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Associate to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Check-in/Check-out: Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Switchboard Communications: Handle switchboard communications with other hotel operational teams, including Food & Beverage, Maintenance, and Housekeeping.
- Reservations and Bookings: Process and take bookings during reservations after hours, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Guest Communication: Attend to guests with a professional telephone manner, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Problem-Solving: Think on your feet and anticipate guests' needs, solving problems and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Time Management: Multitask and manage your time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and achieve team goals.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience as a Front Desk Associate or in a similar role in a hotel environment is highly desirable.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computer systems and software, including Opera and TARS Database or similar PMS.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with a high attention to detail, able to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Working Rights: Working rights to accommodate a full-time role in Australia.
