The role requires expertise in providing timely and commercial legal guidance, evaluating compliance with laws and policies, and participating in product launches and rollouts.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Offer legal advice and assistance to business partners.
- Evaluate compliance with laws and regulations.
- Assist the Company Secretary.
- Provide timely and commercial legal guidance on claims, underwriting, contracts, marketing, financial services, and product distribution.
- Participate in product launches and rollouts, tenders, and working groups.
- Review and amend documents, including PDS and policy disclosures.
- Evaluate new laws and regulations and implement required changes.
- Liaise with external firms and optimize legal expenditure.
- LLB or equivalent, with entitlement to practice in New South Wales.
- 4 years' experience as a solicitor or legal officer in a law firm, insurance company, or financial services organization.
