Job Title: Marketplace Coordinator

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Marketplace Coordinator. The successful applicant will lead an effective and high functioning team of volunteers to provide day-to-day management and ensure service continuity of Community Support Services.

In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking efficient and caring assessments of clients' needs, making referrals to appropriate programs or services, and completing all required administrative tasks within required timeframes.

You will also treat clients with empathy, dignity, and respect, manage client behavior effectively, and take responsibility for the successful service delivery of emergency relief in the Marketplace.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Emergency Relief or equivalent demonstrated experience and willingness to complete further approved training;
  • Degree-level qualification in Welfare, Psychology, Social Work, or Community/Human Services discipline;
  • Current Victorian Driver's Licence; and,
  • Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
