About the Role

This position involves supporting young people and their families who are experiencing complex challenges. The role includes maintaining an active caseload, providing one-to-one interventions and group activities based on service user needs and goals through intensive therapeutic interventions aligned with Trauma-Informed Practice Principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain an active caseload of young people and their families who require support and guidance.
  • Provide one-to-one interventions and group activities to address the needs and goals of service users.
  • Participate in and support ongoing quality and practice improvement initiatives.
  • Lead community forums, reference groups, projects, and maintain networks with relevant stakeholders.

You will work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to provide high-quality services to young people and their families. Your skills and experience will enable you to make a positive impact in this rewarding role.


What You Need to Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary degree qualifications within the Community Services Sector or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with youth and families who are at risk or presenting complex issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in complex and escalated situations.
  • Solid administrative, record-keeping, and case management documentation skills.
  • Ability to be innovative, flexible, and work autonomously where required.
