We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at the YMCA WA in Karratha. As a key member of our early years education team, you will play a vital role in inspiring and nurturing children to become independent individuals.

Job Description

This is a full-time permanent position that offers a competitive salary package, including an annual salary of $59,650.50, plus $5.19 per hour remote allowance, and 11.5% superannuation. You will work alongside a close-knit team of educators to ensure our children enjoy a safe, hygienic, and inspiring environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement high-quality early childhood programs for 0-to-5-year-olds;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required by regulatory bodies;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment;
  • Engage with families to promote partnerships and effective communication;
  • Contribute to ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives;

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree or diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent;
  • Current First Aid certification (HLTAID012) or equivalent;
  • Understanding of the National Quality Framework and National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012;
  • Previous experience in children's services, developing or implementing programs for 0-to-5-year-olds;
  • Able to obtain a National Police Certificate and Working with Children card;
