Day Shift Technician Role

This is a Day Shift Technician position within our data center operations team. As a technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: You will perform routine planned preventative maintenance tasks as required, including monitoring Building Management Systems (BMS) and investigating faults.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out with due regard to Health and Safety, business risk and maintaining 100% uptime criteria.
  • Customer Focus: Deliver effective communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to team meetings, briefings, correspondence, monthly and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Quality and Safety: Responsible for administrative tasks related to Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE), logging hazards and customer feedback on the QHSE Management Portal and maintaining compliance with all mandatory training.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience with Health & Safety Risk Assessments and Control Measures.
  • Detailed understanding and experience of electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment.
  • Prior exposure to maintenance scheduling and subcontractor management and supervision.
  • Strong understanding of ticketing or workflow management systems and tools.
  • Current ARC license/Cert III in AC & Ref.
