Our organisation is committed to delivering exceptional support services to individuals with disabilities. In our efforts to make a positive impact in the community, we are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Katoomba and Lower Blue Mountains region.

About the Role

This full-time or part-time position offers an exciting opportunity for Occupational Therapists of all levels of experience to work collaboratively with a dynamic team. As an Occupational Therapist with us, you will play a pivotal role in assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity.

  • You will conduct comprehensive assessments to identify participant needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to promote independence and improve functional abilities.
  • Support participants and their families in adapting their environment to meet their needs.
  • Recommend the provision of Assistive Technology to enhance participant outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and a desire to work in a fun, collaborative, and supportive environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
