Auditing, Financial Management and Operations Specialist Role

This position combines payroll duties with financial management tasks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the company's financial operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll for 600+ employees;
  • Remitting payroll taxes and government reports in compliance with local, state, and federal laws;
  • Preparing annual, quarterly, and monthly payroll reporting;
  • Determining payroll liabilities through accurate calculation of employee salaries, taxes, superannuation, leave entitlements, and workers' compensation payments;
  • Generating monthly and annual reports on earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, insurances, and non-taxable wages;

A strong analytical mindset, paired with excellent communication skills, is essential for this role. You will work closely with the GM People and Culture team to achieve the following objectives:

  • Process end-to-end new hires and terminations;
  • Manage time cards, time entry, and timekeeping software systems;
  • Calculate and process off-cycle payments as required;
  • Reconcile monthly and yearly payroll tax returns;
  • Prepare payroll reports and partner with the broader business to provide insights and data where needed;

Required qualifications and experience include:

  • Previous similar experience in payroll administration;
  • Experience using payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Understanding of payroll procedures, laws, taxes, insurances, and best practices;

This role offers a salary package of $95+super, depending on experience. Benefits also include a hybrid work arrangement between home and office locations. The Brookvale location provides a supportive team environment.
