We are seeking a part-time team member who wants more than just a job.

Our hotel is located in the heart of Tasmania's largest city, offering guests easy access to the famous waterfront and Salamanca Market.

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the heartbeat of our hotel, delivering exceptional guest experiences every day.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient, friendly and professional service to all guests.
  • Show efficiency in constantly striving to provide total customer satisfaction.
  • Take initiative to ensure that interactions with our guests are positive, productive, and professional.
  • Log all guest requests to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Follow up with relevant team members to ensure guest requests are being met.
  • Assist and direct guests with local attractions and directions.
  • Securely store and deliver guest luggage.
  • Keep other members of the front office team informed on guest feedback and requirements.

Necessary Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
  • Energy, a team-focused attitude, and a can-do approach.
  • Ability to provide prompt and efficient service, including building rapport with guests over the phone.
  • Self-motivation, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm to connect with guests.
  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with all levels of team members.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
