Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Risk, Audit and Insurance professional to provide expert advice on risk management, internal audit and insurance functions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in prioritising customer engagement, offering guidance on risk management and assisting business unit leaders to manage risks according to the university's framework.
Main Responsibilities:- Prioritise customer engagement by providing proactive and timely professional advice to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Offer guidance on all aspects of risk management, internal audit and insurance matters.
- Assist business unit leaders to manage risks according to the University's Risk Management Framework.
- Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business or Law with relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience.
- At least 5 years' experience working within the risk and internal audit functions of large organisations.
- Demonstrated experience in business continuity management is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills, able to work under pressure managing multiple tasks or projects with competing deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills including ability to negotiate, motivate, influence and build relationships at all levels of an organisation.
