About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Geospatial Data Specialist to join our Digital team and contribute to the delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing spatial data management, professional GIS analysis, and creating new spatial content across the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Spatial Databases: Design, develop, and maintain spatial databases to store and manage construction-related data, including site plans, utility networks, and aerial imagery.
- Ensure GIS Compliance: Ensure that GIS practices comply with organizational standards, industry regulations, and data privacy requirements.
- Create and Utilize Spatial Data: Create and utilize spatial data to assist construction activities, assess risk, and optimize project design.
- Analyze Spatial Data: Utilize GIS tools and techniques to analyze spatial data, identify patterns, and generate insights.
- Produce High-Quality Maps and Visualizations: Produce high-quality maps and visualizations to support design, planning, and construction activities.
- Provide Technical Support: Provide technical support to GIS users, including troubleshooting software issues.
- Collaborate with IT and Other Departments: Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate spatial data with other organizational systems and processes.
- Maintain Documentation: Maintain documentation of GIS processes, methodologies, and data sources to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
- Experience: At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in GIS on major design and construction projects.
- Qualifications: Degree qualified in GIS, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Skills: Demonstrated experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, FME applications, and VertiGIS.
- Ability to Solve Problems: Ability to solve problems through application of analytical and critical thinking.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
