About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Design Engineer to join our team at Harris Geospatial Solutions. As a key member of our RF team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and prototyping new RF & microwave components and electronic subsystems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop new RF & microwave components and electronic subsystems
  • Perform RF line-up budget calculations, modelling, and simulations using software packages
  • Qualify new products through testing and documentation, including antenna testing and EMI/EMC testing
  • Participate in the generation of formal bids and quotations
  • Interact with customers to present design details and documentation during review
  • Review project schedules and meet financial and time constraints
  • Contribute to the manufacture and test of modules
  • Provide engineering leadership to small multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery of projects
  • Maintain a focus on producing high-quality products and recommend enhancements to promote customer satisfaction or cost reductions
Requirements
  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering
  • Extensive experience with RF modelling and simulation software packages such as CST Microwave Studio and Microwave Office for RF line-up budget calculations, modelling, and simulation of RF & microwave circuits
  • Experience with software, such as Altium or equivalent, for schematics and PCB design
  • Experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams
  • Experience with a production environment and product development
  • Experience in generating engineering plans, design documentation, and work-breakdown-structures
  • Experience in working with customers to understand project requirements and generating specifications
