Job Title: Camp Maintenance Coordinator

At our Lake Macquarie campsite, we are seeking a motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a full-time Camp Maintenance Coordinator. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the campsite is well-maintained, safe, and presented in an excellent condition.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and preparation of camp facilities, buildings, and activities to ensure that the campsite is well presented and usable at all times.
  • General maintenance and upkeep of the bushland and bivouac site.
  • Ground keeping duties including lawn mowing, gardening, maintenance of bushwalking tracks, and management of swimming pool when built.
  • Repairs and maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, painting, carpentry.
  • Procuring site consumables and equipment.
  • General maintenance of the site's boat fleet and associated infrastructure.
  • General maintenance and upkeep of activity equipment, such as climbing tower, log roll, mission impossible, and the like.
  • Support of all water activities, including re-fueling safety boats, repairing sailboats, and sails.
  • Upkeep and operation of security systems across all areas of the site (Lakeside, staging area, and bush side).
  • Supporting other areas of operation as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols and procedures.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Ability to operate various machinery and equipment.
