Senior High Voltage Substation Design Lead

We are seeking a senior professional to lead the full design delivery for major high voltage substation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of design delivery, managing scope, cost and schedule
  • Act as the single point of responsibility for design performance on allocated projects
  • Coordinate and integrate multi disciplinary design teams across civil, mechanical, electrical, control, protection and HV cable or OHL systems
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers and Engineers to achieve best for project outcomes
  • Resolve technical issues and maintain design momentum
  • Ensure quality, safety and environmental standards are met throughout the design lifecycle
Requirements
  • 10 years or more experience in engineering, design management or project delivery roles
  • Background in high voltage substations
  • Proven capability in EPC environments and strong site delivery understanding
  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills in multi disciplinary teams
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to deliver to time, cost and quality targets
