Electrical Engineering Lead

A leading role is available for an Electrical Engineer to lead the design and implementation of high-voltage substations and transmission lines across renewable projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical engineering, power systems analysis, and team leadership.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing electrical engineering strategies to support project goals
  • Liaising with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers
  • Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in high-voltage substation design and operation
  • Advanced knowledge of power systems analysis and modeling software (e.g. PowerFactory, ETAP, PSCAD)
  • Deep understanding of Australian Standards and NER regulations
