Senior Commercial Advisor for Defence Projects

Key Role Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to provide commercial advisory consulting services in the Defence industry.

Service Delivery Overview:

  • Provide expert commercial advisory consulting services
  • Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform business decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements:

  • Experience with Defence contracting and procurement processes, including ASDEFCON contracting suite
  • Solid understanding of key Defence procurement frameworks, including Procurement Policy Framework and Commonwealth Procurement Rules
  • High level of emotional intelligence and humanistic qualities
  • Great listener, excellent communicator, and dedicated to delivering quality outcomes
  • Australian citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain AGSVA Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Defence maritime or other domain sustainment or project experience
  • Above the line support directly to government
  • Legal background
  • Foreign military sale expertise including export/import management
