Service Delivery Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Consultant to provide commercial advisory consulting services to our clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in commercial acumen, relevant qualifications, and proven experience in the Defence Industry.
The Service Delivery Role:
This role sits within our Maritime Sustainment segment, where you will provide commercial advisory consulting services to our clients while developing those skills if you haven't consulted before.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide commercial advisory consulting services to clients
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
Conduct market research and analysis to inform business decisions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Experience with Defence contracting and procurement processes, including a working knowledge of the ASDEFCON contracting suite

• A solid understanding of key Defence procurement, including the Procurement Policy Framework and Commonwealth Procurement Rules

• High level of emotional intelligence and humanistic qualities

• Great listener, excellent communicator, and dedicated to delivering quality outcomes

• Australian Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:

• Defence maritime or other domain sustainment or project experience

• Above the line support directly to the Commonwealth

• Legal background

• Foreign military sale expertise including export/import management
