Senior Defence Advisor

This role focuses on commercial, project management and corporate finance advisory services in support of the Department of Defence.
We seek a Senior Consultant or Manager with 4+ years' experience in commercial advisory and/or transaction/project management. You'll work alongside senior colleagues on complex policy, strategy and transaction matters.
- Collaborate with a national team across procurement and commercial advice projects, including buying new Army capabilities, sustaining existing ones and upgrading to meet Defence requirements.
- Advise Defence on the commercial, financial and contractual aspects of capability acquisition and how to leverage private capital.
- Balance service delivery methods between embedded roles at client sites and virtual teams working collaboratively on transactions.
You must be an Australian Citizen able to obtain an Australian Government security clearance.
Prior experience in complex procurement and/or corporate finance, preferably in Utilities, Resources, Infrastructure or Transport, is ideal. Eagerness to grow Defence domain expertise is also preferred.
