Accounts Payable Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team at Only About Children. As a key member of our Financial Accounting team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, expense claims, and credit card submissions.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and respond to accounts emails from external and internal parties.
- Accurately and timely enter data into our financial systems.
- Collate pay runs and ensure adherence to payment terms.
- Provide remittance advices to suppliers.
- Reconcile invoices against supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist with statutory obligations, including collating invoices for review by external auditors and collecting expense information as required.
- Perform general accounting duties, including bank reconciliations.
- Maintain accounts payable guidelines by enforcing policies and procedures.
- Assist with month-end accounting procedures and produce regular reports and metrics as needed.
- Lead and develop team members.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Experience in a commercial environment.
- Intermediate experience with IT and systems, including financial programs, word, excel, and outlook.
- May have, or be undertaking, a formal qualification in Accounting.
- Experience in delivering exceptional customer/stakeholder service.
- Above award salary and annual review.
