Job Title: Experienced Team Leader

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading a team of support staff to deliver positive and educational learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years. As an experienced team leader, you will possess a professional and enthusiastic attitude, high standards of personal presentation, and commitment to continual development and improvement both professionally and personally.

You will work closely with parents, colleagues, and the community to develop strong relationships and provide a culture of excellence in education, care, and supervision of all children. Your excellent written and verbal skills, knowledge of National Quality Standards, Early Years Learning Framework, and Education and Care Services National Regulations, Legislation, and Law will enable you to make a significant contribution to your Centre's success.

We are looking for someone who is a lateral thinker with a strong ability to relate to children and their families. If you have a current First Aid Certificate, including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training, a Working with Children Check, and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent), we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To lead a team of support staff to deliver positive and educational learning experiences for children aged 0-5 years.
  • To work closely with parents, colleagues, and the community to develop strong relationships and provide a culture of excellence in education, care, and supervision of all children.
  • To contribute to the development and implementation of programs that meet the individual needs of each child.
  • To maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and development.

Key Requirements:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care (or equivalent).
  • A current First Aid Certificate, including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training.
  • A Working with Children Check.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of National Quality Standards, Early Years Learning Framework, and Education and Care Services National Regulations, Legislation, and Law.
