Job Overview

We are seeking a Strategic Partnerships Leader to drive improved commercials and customer experiences across our Payment Partnerships. The successful candidate will have experience identifying, developing and supporting strategic innovation, and will be responsible for attracting, recruiting, developing and retaining talent.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coach team members to build a high-performing team that delivers strategic results.
  • Create and continuously improve governance structures to ensure opportunities are optimized and actioned with speed.
  • Support key change initiatives and manage operational and compliance risk relating to contracts and governance of scheme and payment partnerships.
  • Monitor operations and servicing activities to achieve cost, risk, and customer outcomes.
  • Provide insights through structured and unstructured data to drive effective decision-making.
  • Ensure appropriate controls are activated and embedded into all key processes.
  • Support the development of strategies, frameworks and guidelines to optimize margin/ROE across all segments and deliver desired customer outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience within financial services, product design and delivery.
  • Strong understanding of scheme/issuer/acquirer environment and strategy.
  • Customer First Mindset.
  • Business & financial acumen.
  • Leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate direct and indirect teams.
  • Demonstrated capabilities in internal and client stakeholder management and being able to communicate with influence.
  • Strategic Agility & mindset - Deep understanding of long-term vision, anticipates future challenges and shapes strategy.
  • Demonstrated capability of customer obsession, innovation & simplification.
