Environment Sustainability Specialist\

The Environment Sustainability Specialist will play a vital role in driving the continuous improvement of workplace health and safety management systems and practices at the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator.

\Primary Responsibilities\

  • Develop, implement, and promote effective environmental policies, systems, and improvement initiatives across the organization to enhance organizational capability in environmental management.\
  • Facilitate the continuous enhancement of the workplace health and safety management system through the optimization of environmental aspects.\
  • Demonstrate leadership and contribute to the development of a positive workplace culture that values diversity and promotes inclusivity.\
  • Work collaboratively with employees and managers to increase organizational expertise in environmental management.\
  • Cultivate a proactive approach to workplace health and safety by staying up-to-date with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
