Sustainability and Environmental Manager

  • A key role in managing environmental compliance across multiple sites
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sustainability and Environmental Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development, review, and implementation of environmental programs and provide assurance on regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing a varied workflow across environmental compliance for Thales sites
  • Developing, reviewing, and implementing environmental programs of works
  • Leading incident reporting and investigations
  • Working with site HSE teams to implement Thales's environment programs
  • Providing assurance on environmental regulatory compliance

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Environmental Compliance Management
  • Ensure all Thales sites meet or exceed environmental regulations and standards
Program Development and Implementation
  • Develop and implement environmental programs of works to ensure regulatory compliance
Incident Reporting and Investigations
  • Lead incident reporting and investigations to identify areas for improvement
Collaboration and Communication
  • Work closely with site HSE teams to implement Thales's environment programs
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • 5+ years' experience in leading environmental and sustainability management
  • A minimum AQF level 7 qualification in Environmental Science or Management
  • Demonstrated experience in a field environment managing systems, assurances, and regulations
