**About the Role:**

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-focused professional to join our client's Melbourne Operations Team as an Asset Transfer Support Analyst on a 6-month contract.

The successful candidate will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including accurately settling and recording numerous transactions daily, identifying and mitigating operational risks, and developing strong client relationships.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Mainly focusing on asset transfer, particularly listed equity and managed funds
  • Serving as the primary liaison point between advisors, Overseas Operations, and local counterparties.
  • To ensure all necessary transfer forms are signed according to respective counterparty requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate cost base data for transfers.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Banking, or equivalent education or experience.
  • 1-3 years of prior financial services operations experience, preferably in equity market-related or Wealth Management.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills via phone and email.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, specifically Excel.
  • Previous experience with asset transfers such as managed funds/stock/cash would be highly beneficial.
