Role Overview

Audiologists play a vital role in supporting and empowering individuals with hearing health needs. This position requires an experienced Audiologist to provide high-quality services across the country, catering to diverse client backgrounds.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Assess auditory problems of adult clients using established standards and methods, aligning with best practice guidelines.
  • Provide rehabilitative support, including fitting hearing aids and assistive listening devices as needed, ensuring optimal outcomes for clients.
  • Refer clients to relevant professionals or seek guidance from senior audiologists when necessary, upholding a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits, prioritizing accessibility and convenience.
  • Liaise with representatives from government agencies and families/carers to ensure seamless communication and effective service delivery.
  • Undertake marketing/public relations activities in the community to promote the organization's services and values.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, manage client load efficiently, and meet performance targets while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualification in Audiology, demonstrating a strong foundation in clinical practice.
  • Full membership with a professional organization related to audiology, showcasing commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology procedures, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Familiarity with programs and schemes related to hearing services, ensuring informed decision-making and expert advice.
  • Experience working with disability support agencies and familiarization with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Ability to adapt to changing business requirements, priorities, and goals while maintaining a flexible and responsive attitude.
