The Opportunity
Collaborating closely with the Chief People Officer (CPO) and the hospital services leadership team, this national role oversees a comprehensive operational directive and strategic human resources initiatives across a large and diverse cohort.

Its primary focus includes various components of the employee life cycle, including, but not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the Chief People Officer (CPO) to ensure that people practices and processes consistently yield high-quality, mission-centric outcomes that effectively address the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assisting the CPO in executing the People Strategy to achieve the goals outlined in the Strategic Plan.
  • Working together with the Head of Talent to execute workforce strategies aimed at attracting, recruiting, selecting, developing, and retaining high-quality professionals.
  • Ensuring the delivery of human resource services and practices that effectively support management.
  • Offering guidance and advice to the Human Resources Manager and team of Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) regarding all employee relations (ER) matters and case management.
  • Actively participating and providing precise advice during agreement negotiations as needed.
  • Driving and overseeing human resource-designated projects.
  • Coaching managers to ensure their proficiency in current and relevant human resource management practices.
  • Leading and facilitating the delivery of human resource services that align with the organisation's strategic objectives and embody existing values.
  • Contributing to a collective approach to change management and the implementation of change.
  • Offering the review and development of policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining and cultivating effective relationships with relevant stakeholders by ensuring appropriate lines of communication are upheld.
  • Ensuring compliance with legislation and regulations by implementing risk assessments and frameworks and management programs in both clinical and non-clinical areas.
