Job Title: Retail Marketing CoordinatorAbout the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Retail Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Japanese jewelry brand as we expand into the Australian market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough research on the Australian jewelry industry, including trends, competitors, price points, and consumer behavior.
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating focus group interviews to gather valuable insights from local consumers.
  • Identify potential locations for pop-up stores or retail outlets that align with our brand's target market.
  • Research and support lease negotiations to secure prime locations for our brand.
  • Compile and contact local vendors and shopping malls to establish relationships and coordinate logistics.
  • Participate in regular online meetings with our Japan headquarters and submit detailed reports on progress and findings.
  • Provide on-the-ground support as needed, including event support, launch preparations, and other project-related tasks.
Requirements:
  • Australian permanent resident or citizen.
  • Currently residing in Sydney.
  • Work experience in the jewelry or fashion industry.
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication).
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with our Japan team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in the fashion or jewelry industry.
  • Experience in market research or retail location development.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Proactive and able to solve problems with limited information.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
