Product Designer Role

The purpose of this role is to deliver exceptional user experience for our customers by designing software products that meet their needs and preferences.

You will be responsible for leading the visual and interaction design of our software products, contributing to the success of our Design System, and working closely with product teams to embed design thinking into our processes.

As a Product Designer, you will design and develop solutions that drive customer value, own and improve user interface and component quality, and contribute to an innovative culture within the organisation through continuous learning and improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing design solutions that drive customer value for the business
  • Owning and improving user interface and component quality, and user experience standards that delight our customers and our business
  • Contributing to an innovative culture within the organisation through continuous learning and improvement
  • Working with and contributing to design direction and the growth/improvement of our design system
  • Leading & collaborating in ideation workshops utilising frameworks/processes such as Design Thinking and Design Sprints

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-5 years experience in a similar role across UX using Figma, Sketch and Adobe
  • Experience of wireframing
  • Experience working with and contributing to a Design System
  • Experience working with Product Managers and Engineers on feasibility, detailed design and finding solutions to complex problems
  • Good presentation skills
  • Demonstrated experienced with conducting user testing and presenting research findings
  • Bachelor Degree in Design or similar (optional)
  • Diploma/Certificate in Design or similar (optional)
  • Equivalent experience
