- Key Responsibilities:
- Shunting and yard duties (including cleaning)
- Examine and certify trains as ready for departure.
- Undertake theoretical and practical components of the training program.
- Ensure efficient and safe loading and unloading of customer products.
- Conduct brake testing of trains.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Essential Qualifications:
- Shunt Qualified (mandatory)
- C Class Manual Drivers Licence (mandatory)
- A willingness to work a 24/7 roster and shift lengths of up to 12 hours
- Strong commitment to safety
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
