Job Title: Senior Engineering LeadThis role involves leading systems safety assurance and supporting agile engineering practices across multiple product teams.The Senior Engineering Lead is responsible for overseeing safety programs, configuration management, and technical assurance processes.Duties include:
  • Developing and maintaining the Systems Safety Program Plan;
  • Collaborating with product teams to conduct safety assessments;
  • Providing support for design approvals and technical assurance for product releases;
  • Leading configuration management activities through the Configuration Manager;
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering and release processes;
  • Delivering education and workshops on systems safety and engineering practices;
  • Identifying safety requirements and their impact on system design;
  • Engaging with stakeholders to ensure documentation and reporting standards are met.
Suitable candidates will possess an engineering degree in IT, Networking, Computing, or Electrical/Electronic disciplines, or 10+ years of relevant experience. Certification as a SAFe Practitioner is also beneficial. Experience in systems safety assurance programs, familiarity with technical regulatory frameworks, and agile systems engineering processes are essential. Department of Defence experience is highly desirable.We require Australian citizens who can obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance.
