About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Handy Person in a five-star luxury environment at Hayman Great Barrier Reef. As part of our Village team, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the Hayman Village.

Your day-to-day tasks will include basic repairs such as painting, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and cabinetry. You will also assist with the upkeep of each property and common areas including pools, organising supplies, and completing weekly property checks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform various maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of properties and common areas.
  • Assist with repairs, renovations, and upkeep of properties and facilities.
  • Organise and maintain necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Conduct weekly property checks to identify any issues or concerns.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Relevant industry knowledge or trade-related background.
  • Able to complete repairs including painting, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and cabinetry.
  • Landscape or gardening experience highly desirable.
  • Physical fitness required, as you will be on your feet most of the day and need to bend and kneel frequently.
