We are seeking an experienced administrative professional to provide comprehensive support in a pivotal role within our team. This position involves managing key administrative and business functions that enable seamless service delivery, ensuring a customer-focused approach that meets the needs of staff, medical practitioners, clients, and their families.
This role is ideal for individuals with excellent organizational skills, who can work effectively in a diverse team environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clerical/administrative support services, including record maintenance and system operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support related to client management across hospital and Residential Aged Care settings.
- Facilitate effective communication within the organisation and with external services.
- Develop and implement statistical information systems.
- Work closely with the Executive Officer, Director of Nursing, and senior nursing staff to support operational objectives and enhance service quality.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of a clerical/administrative support service.
- Experience in the development and implementation of statistical information systems.
- Experience in computer operation and systems management.
- Experience in working within a diverse team environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the use of computer-based resources.

The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network is a large health network with a wide range of services, including acute care, medical, accident and emergency, surgery, birthing and midwifery, specialist consultancy, renal dialysis, chemotherapy, transfusions, rehabilitation, residential and community aged care, respite care, transitional care packages, Aboriginal health, mental health, allied health, community health, community nursing, palliative care, community home support packages and home modifications.
