As a Principal Water Infrastructure Engineer, you will have the opportunity to lead the design of various water infrastructure projects, including networks, desalination plants, and wastewater treatment plant upgrades.

About the Role

This is a mid-senior level position that requires proven experience in water and/or wastewater projects within consulting and design environments. You will be responsible for providing technical guidance and mentoring to emerging engineers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.

You will also have the opportunity to get involved in coordinating, managing, and completing projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of water infrastructure projects
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to emerging engineers
  • Coordinate, manage, and complete projects from inception

In this role, you will work collaboratively with various clients and local, regional, and global colleagues as part of multidisciplinary teams and project delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are highly desired:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications, CPEng accreditation, and strong knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards
  • Proven experience in water and/or wastewater projects within consulting and design environments
  • Demonstrated leadership of project or technical teams, with a passion for high-quality project delivery
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and client engagement skills, with an interest in mentoring others
