Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients.

About the Role
  • Coaching, leading and developing a high-performing practice team in a positive environment for both staff and patients
  • Assisting with overall financial performance of the practice in line with approved budgets
  • Maintaining sterilization, infection control standards and stock control
  • Patient management, including greeting and welcoming patients, answering phone enquiries, making and confirming appointments, checking and processing customer accounts
  • General administration, including processing payments using EFTPOS and HiCaps
  • Proactively marketing the practice to drive patient numbers
  • Effectively managing the recruitment and selection of all practice staff
Requirements
  • Previous dental practice management experience is required
  • Prior business and people management experience essential
  • Proven track record of strong organizational skills, administrative and time management
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills and strong business acumen
  • Understanding how to generate income and control costs
  • Able to face difficult conversations and deal promptly with issues when they arise
  • Comfortable conversing with people from all walks of life, including dentists, patients and your practice team
  • Experienced in comprehending and managing the profit and loss statement for the practice
