Lead Tailings Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineer to lead complex tailings projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical direction, reviewing work and technical deliverables, and fulfilling Engineer of Record roles.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Engineering qualification in Civil or Mining Engineering, with proven working experience on tailings/mine waste related projects locally or internationally. They will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently autonomously and in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical direction and leadership for tailings design studies
  • Review and approve work and technical deliverables
  • Fulfill Engineer of Record roles
  • Interface with client leads and external subject matter experts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering qualification in Civil or Mining Engineering
  • Proven working experience on tailings/mine waste related projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently autonomously and in a team environment
