Job Opportunity

As a seasoned culinary professional, you will oversee daily operations in our fast-paced kitchen, leading a diverse team to deliver exceptional food quality.

  • Support the Head Chef in managing and training a skilled kitchen team.
  • Develop and implement Food Safety Plans to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established cooking guidelines and standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to design and implement menus that meet customer expectations.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
  • A valid Food Handlers Certificate.
  • Proven experience working in a high-volume pub/bistro environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of all kitchen areas with hands-on experience.
  • Ability to provide clear guidance and instructions when required.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
