The Executive Kitchen Manager oversees all food production areas within the hotel, ensuring efficient operations and maximizing profitability. Key responsibilities include managing kitchen staff, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and addressing any issues promptly.
- Presents a standard of food that consistently meets and exceeds guest expectations by employing effective planning and organizational skills.
- Avoids complaints by efficiently resolving any issues that may arise during service.
- Ensures the safe storage and preparation of food by adhering to stringent hygiene protocols.
- Maintains a well-organized kitchen environment, providing an optimal working space for staff members.
- Develops recipes and production specifications in accordance with established standards.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless operations and fosters a positive service environment.
- Sources and procures ingredients and materials, effectively managing inventory levels.
- Supervises and evaluates kitchen team members regularly, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback.
- Liaises with executive management regarding personnel matters, including disciplinary actions when necessary.
