**Job Title:** In-House Legal Advisor

We are seeking a skilled In-House Legal Advisor to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, as well as providing advice on consumer law, advertising and promotions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and Negotiating Commercial Agreements: Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements including supplier, distribution, licensing, technology and marketing contracts.
  • Consumer Law Advice: Provide advice on consumer law, advertising, promotions, privacy/data protection and competition law.
  • Business Partnership: Partner with the business on product launches, marketing campaigns and strategic initiatives to ensure compliance from concept through delivery.
  • Governance and Risk Management: Contribute to governance and risk frameworks, developing policies, procedures and training programs.
  • External Relationships: Manage relationships with external legal providers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Commercial Law Experience: 3–6 years' PQE gained in-house or in private practice, with strong commercial law experience.
  • Contractual Skills: Strong commercial contract experience with the ability to balance legal risk and business outcomes.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Proven ability in consumer law, privacy/data protection and corporate governance.
  • Collaborative Approach: Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.
