We are a family-owned company with operations across Australia, involved in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, mining, property development, building supplies, health, and education.

As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a talented and experienced Litigation Lawyer to join our in-house legal team.


About the Position

This is a fantastic opportunity for a litigation lawyer to transition into a dynamic in-house role where you'll work on a variety of matters across multiple industries.

In this role, you will:

  • Manage all phases of the litigation lifecycle for a sophisticated caseload.
  • Work on complex, high value matters with a Board who rely on you as a core legal advisor.
  • Work closely with the General Counsel on complex legal disputes.
  • No routine or repetitive work; every file will challenge and grow your capability.
  • Be part of a collegial, high-performing legal team with top-tier private practice experience

About You

You are a capable and confident litigation lawyer with:

  • The ability to manage matters autonomously from start to finish.
  • Proven experience in insolvency litigation, debt recovery and commercial litigation.
  • Have impeccable attention to detail.
  • Be able to formulate and deliver strategic, commercially astute legal advice.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach and excellent interpersonal skills

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 3–7 years' post-admission experience (PAE)
  • Admission as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW and hold a current Practicing Certificate.
  • Strong commercial litigation experience
  • Demonstrated insolvency litigation and debt recovery background.
  • In-house experience not required – this is a great opportunity to make the move in-house with exposure to all facets of in-house duties.

Location: Sydney's pre-eminent commercial precinct, Barangaroo with other office locations throughout Sydney.
