About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at GFG Alliance. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with rural customers across a vast and diverse territory in central Queensland.

Your primary focus will be on promoting and selling our premium fencing products to farmers and fencing contractors, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure the best possible solutions for their needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximise sales revenue, margin, and volume of our rural products through extensive contact with end-users, distributor clients, and key influencers of buying decisions.
  • Develop and implement sales plans to achieve sales targets and monitor market trends.
  • Achieve sales targets and consistently meet or exceed performance expectations.
  • Influence large contractors, end-users, and other key stakeholders by articulating product benefits, demonstrating products, and providing training.
  • Prepare proposals and detailed costings in consideration of our environment and encourage the purchase of higher-margin products.

Requirements

  • A robust understanding of the Australian agricultural industry and proven sales experience.
  • An agricultural-related qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • A passion for farming and a strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to deliver effective presentations to individuals and groups.
  • A positive attitude and a drive to succeed.
  • Extensive training in the demonstration of a wide and growing range of our products will be provided.
  • A willingness to generate new business opportunities and leads.
  • A current and valid driver's license.
