About the Opportunity

Our business delivers critical services to the electrical utilities and infrastructure sector, supporting 153 employees across NSW, VIC and WA. The team specialises in maintaining and repairing live electrical lines to keep communities powered and connected.

In this newly created role you'll lead people and performance initiatives with a lasting impact on our business. You'll report directly to the General Manager, Utilities O&M, and join the Senior Leadership Team to provide operational support and shape strategy.

The role is based out of our North Sydney office with some travel to VIC and WA sites for on-the-ground engagement.

  • Lead full spectrum strategic and operational activities, including negotiations, frameworks, reviews, surveys, and compliance.
  • Mentor and guide leaders to build inclusive, high-performing teams, resolve workforce challenges and drive organisational goals.
  • Engage with staff via site visits, health check surveys, and feedback sessions, ensuring they feel supported and heard.
  • Implement, manage, and deliver workforce planning, leadership programs, and transformational cultural initiatives.

  • Previous experience in similar roles within complex, unionised environments, with expertise in EA/IR negotiations.

  • A confident self-starter who balances hands-on operational tasks with big-picture strategy.
