Maternity Service Opportunities

We are seeking suitably qualified professionals to join our Maternity Service.

  • Requirements:
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse &/or current registration as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA
  • Demonstrated sound level of midwifery/Special Care Nursery skills and works within safe practice principles
  • Understanding of and commitment to the Baby Friendly Health Initiative (BFHI)
  • Understanding of current midwifery/nursing practice, including the Department of Health's Victorian Maternity and Newborn Services Framework
  • Commitment to flexibility and innovation in practice including an evidence-based approach to care
  • Well-developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
  • Demonstrated written and computer skills at the level required to fulfil the role
