We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Learning and Development Unit in a Permanent full-time position. The successful candidate will have clinical expertise in Maternity services, be flexible, solutions-focused, committed to quality, willing to accept a challenge, and enjoy working within a team that is dedicated to providing great service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of education and development services including in-service education, training program development and delivery, competency assessments, supervision of student placements and staff development education.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain safe, confident, and accountable practice among participants.
  • Contribute to a range of modalities to support learning and professional development.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Extensive post-registration clinical experience in the area of Midwifery, no less than 5 years post-registration
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Midwifery
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience across the pregnancy and birth continuum
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development
  • High-level clinical skills across the continuum of pregnancy
  • Knowledge of contemporary midwifery issues
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Desirable Experience/Qualifications
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or relevant tertiary qualification in education
