Job Description

We are seeking a skilled midwife to work within a dedicated team, providing high-quality learning opportunities and maintaining safe, confident, and accountable practice among participants.

The ideal candidate will have extensive post-registration clinical experience in midwifery, with a strong focus on the pregnancy and birth continuum. They will also possess excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support education and development services across the organisation, including in-service education, training program development and delivery, competency assessments, supervision of student placements, and staff development education.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide high-quality learning opportunities and maintain safe, confident, and accountable practice among participants.
  • Contribute to a range of modalities to support learning and professional development.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Extensive post-registration clinical experience in midwifery, no less than 5 years post-registration.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in midwifery.
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience across the pregnancy and birth continuum.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • High-level clinical skills across the continuum of pregnancy.
  • Knowledge of contemporary midwifery issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
